Meet Our Pastor

Andrew was installed as Pastor of Hillcrest Baptist Church on March 16, 2025. A native of Memphis, Tennessee, he came to saving faith in Jesus at the age of nine. He went on to attend the University of Memphis, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Communication. During his college years, Andrew developed a deep love for Scripture while attending Bellevue Baptist Church, where he eventually joined the staff as the 4th & 5th Grade Intern.

Sensing a call to pastoral ministry, Andrew pursued formal theological training at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky, where he earned a Master of Divinity in Christian Ministry. He later returned to Bellevue to serve as the Pastor to Young Adults in their 20s and 30s. It was during this season of ministry that he met his wife, Anna Cross.

After three years at Bellevue, Andrew and Anna moved to Murray, Kentucky, where he served as Associate Pastor at First Baptist Church. A year later, the Lord led him to pursue a Senior Pastor role, which ultimately brought him to Hillcrest.

Andrew and Anna now reside in Jackson with their beloved dog, Dunkin. Together, they enjoy neighborhood walks, good books, and discovering the beauty and charm of West Tennessee.
